Interstellar Travel

Is Interstellar travel possible? Here at IntSelForce, we not only believe that it’s possible, but we are one of the leading organisations that are uniting resources, power, science and much more to make this possible. That being said, we can’t do this without your support and thoughts, which is why encourage all space enthusiasts to head over to our website when they have the chance and sign up to our membership.

One of the current holdbacks that is preventing interstellar travel is the means of transport we are using, primarily focusing on the propulsion systems. As it stands, most modern spacecraft utilise jet propulsion, which has successfully allowed us to orbit the earth, as well as reach and land on the moon. There are already future plans to land on Mars, which would be possible with jet propulsion, though this will be a long mission taking over 6 months for a single trip. Despite the size of these space shuttles, we are unable to transport large quantities of items and people, meaning we it’s currently impossible to space mine and bring back resources from close planets.

Fortunately, we are looking at an alternative approach – anti-gravity propulsion. Through this method, our new fleet of spacecrafts would have the capability to set its overall mass and cargo mass to zero. Due to this, the flying machine would be able to fly at speeds that exceed modern day spacecraft by a considerable amount, with the potential of reaching close to the speed of light. As a result, the chances of interstellar travel would be more than likely possible, enabling us to reach habitable planets within alternative solar systems.

But why is interstellar travel so important?

In recent years particularly, there has been significant research into how long much longer we can live on Earth before we run out of resources, which has been estimated at only fifty to sixty years. By locating habitable planets through interstellar travel, we would have the opportunity to locate and explore habitable planets so that we can colonise the planet and harvest their resources
